Moja przygoda z fotografią rozpoczęła się wiele lat temu. Od początku fascynowała mnie „wieczystość” obrazów zachowanych w kadrze. Do dziś z zaciekawieniem zatrzymuję wzrok na starych fotografiach, które są dla mnie czymś więcej niż tylko nośnikiem historii. One po prostu są… opowieścią. Opowieścią o ludziach i otoczeniu w jakim żyli. O ich radościach i smutkach, o planach, zamiar i ich realizacji. O byciu. Dobra fotografia nie jest więc dla mnie tworzeniem wyimaginowanych, surrealistycznych zdjęć, lecz ukazywaniem tego co widzimy, czujemy, dotykamy, wąchamy. Przyroda, architektura, ludzie, zatrzymani w ułamkach sekund swojego „tu i teraz” są dla mnie nieustającą twórczą inspiracją.

My adventure with photography began many years ago. From the very beginning, I have been fascinated by the “timelessness” of the images preserved in the frame. To this day, I curiously look at old photographs, which are more than just a medium of history to me. They are just… a story. A story about people and the surrounding in which they used to live. About their joys and sorrows, about their plans, intentions and their implementation. About existing. Therefore, good photography to me is not about creating fancy, surreal photos, but showing what we see, feel, touch and smell. Nature, architecture, people frozen in their shortest „here and now”, are my constant creative inspiration.
